Testing for Two or Three Wheel Motor Vehicles
This directive includes all aspects for homologating a motorcycle. Chapter 8 of this directive looks at the EMC requirements for 97/24/EC is very much like the vehicle directive (2004/104/EC) in regards to EMC. It outlines the requirements for two and three wheeled motor vehicles and single technical units (STU) or regarding EMC. At present there does not appear to be an implementation directive for 97/24/EC other than the exhaust gas emissions requirements. However the directive does indicate that any appropriate vehicle or STU is tested to the requirements, no member state may refuse registration or use of them (with an exclusion regarding local regulations regarding two or three wheeled vehicles towing trailers).
