Testimonials

Thank you very much for arranging the tests at such short notice. We really appreciate your help. I would like specially to thank Matt and the team. He was very helpful during the test and kept me well informed with test progress.

Your facilities are excellent, and the engineers are very friendly, very helpful. I know you are not the cheapest but who wants a cheap test house that tells you your product has failed and throws it back at you, sometimes you cannot even speak to an engineer, just sales people. How you can judge a company is when you have problems and how they react, I am very impressed with the service and will certainly return.

We test quite frequently, when a colleague first visited he was very impressed with James going through everything with him, so we always use 3C Test. We are very pleased with the way we have been treated, staff always helpful. You have a really good crowd here, nice friendly atmosphere!

We found 3C Test on the Internet, we liked the look of the building and your wording on the website was very clear. Your facilities are very good and your engineers helpful, no improvements, I am very pleased with everything.

We are very happy with the service and co-operation we get here. It's a two-way thing. Improvements? No improvements to suggest really, we get just what we need.

I would like to thank you for your time yesterday, very much appreciated and I would like to say how impressed I was with your company structure and layout. Look forward to seeing you in the near future with some new products.

IT & Telecommunications equipment

Of all the groups of industries, the fastest commercial evolving industry has to be the Information Technology Industry (IT). Computers are getting faster by the day, and with more emphasis on reliability, product specific Emissions and Immunity standards have been recently published: EN 55022 2010 and EN 55024 2010

The main impact of the immunity standard is the way equipment is monitored during testing. Due to the reliability issues, specific performance criteria for each individual function of an IT device has to be exercised and monitored. The particular performance criteria is outlined in the relevant annexes of EN 55024 and are applicable as follows:

Annex A:  Telephony terminal equipment

Annex B:   Data processing equipment

Annex C:   Local area networks (LAN)

Annex D:   Printers and plotters

Annex E :  Copying machines

Annex F:   Automatic teller machines (ATM)

Annex G:  Point of sale terminals (POST)

Annex H:  xDSL Terminal equipment

Each of these annexes are normative to the standard which means the test conditions and performance criteria have to be applied to the standard or compliance cannot be declared.

At 3C Test, we can help to achieve the standard by looking at your specific requirements for your product and determine what is required to meet the standard so compliance can be declared. To test to the annexes of EN 55024, particularly annexes B and C can mean that specialist software has to be written for your product. When you are at the design stage of your product, it is recommended that the requirements of EN 55024 are taken into consideration which will make the test program run smoother and a full UKAS report can be issued without deviations which can be a powerful tool to present to potential customers.
