Our UK laboratory in Silverstone has expanded its accredited testing capabilities, extending both its environmental and EMC services for defence and aerospace applications.
The environmental testing expansion extends our UKAS accreditation and complements our existing EMC services. The laboratory now provides internationally recognised environmental testing aligned with key standards used across global defence and aerospace programmes, including DEF STAN 00-035, MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160.
Capabilities include vibration and shock, temperature and humidity, thermal shock, salt fog and altitude testing, supporting the qualification of products and systems operating in demanding environments.
In parallel, the laboratory has expanded its accredited EMC capabilities to include DEF STAN 59-411 and MIL-STD-461. These services support component-level EMC validation across electronic units and subsystems, while also extending to complete systems and vehicles through large EMC chambers with reinforced flooring capable of handling loads of up to 50 tonnes.
Together, the environmental and EMC testing expansions reinforce the role of our UK laboratory as a key centre for defence qualification, delivering a broader, locally based solution for military-grade electronics and complete systems and vehicles.
